I’m Jodie, founder of ConceptJ and a health-led strength and movement coach based in Bedfordshire.
At ConceptJ, I support adults of all ages and abilities to move well, build strength, and train safely for the long term. My work is designed around real people, real bodies, and real life, not fitness trends or quick fixes.
I specialise in 1:1 coaching and small group strength sessions, supporting individuals returning from injury, managing long-term conditions, navigating ageing, or simply looking for more informed and supportive approach to training.
My coaching style is calm, structured, and progressive, with a strong emphasis on movement quality, confidence, and sustainability.
About me
I began my career as a professional dancer at 18, performing internationally with renowned artists and dance companies for most of my young adult life. That experience shaped how I understand movement, discipline, and the importance of looking after the body for longevity.
After transitioning into the fitness industry, I developed a strong interest in health-led strength and movement coaching, particularly for those who may feel overlooked by traditional fitness environments.
I now work with individuals and small groups who want to feel stronger, more capable, and confident in their bodies. This includes people managing injuries or long-term conditions, returning to exercise after time away, or seeking a calmer, more considered approach to training.
At ConceptJ, I combine experience, evidence-based practice, and a supportive coaching style to help people build strength and resilience in a way that genuinely fits their lives.
